Lydia will be in conversation with Vera Boele-Keimer as part of her solo show, ‘Make Do’ at the RWA.

Taking the title of the exhibition and its allusion to frugality and the hand-made as a starting point, they will examine the role of making and process in Vera’s work, questioning underlying impulses and motivations and placing them in a wider theoretical and historical context such as the expanded field of painting and textility.
